Welcoming our second Burma Star Scholar

We have just awarded our second Burma Star Scholarship to Kushma Thapa. Kushma graduated from the Himalayan College of Engineering at Tribhuvan University in Nepal and then spent four years assisting with the reconstruction of her country after the devastating earthquakes of 2015. She moved to Nottingham in 2019 to study Sustainable Urban Design at Nottingham University. She was delighted to be offered a Burma Star Scholarship and will join UCL to study an MSc in Engineering for International Development in September 2020.
