Thanking our Burma Star veterans: the 'Not Forgot You' gift boxes

The Burma Star Memorial Fund is supporting The Not Forgotten charity in its initiative to find and thank as many surviving World War II veterans as possible. The pandemic has denied these veterans the chance to properly celebrate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.
The Not Forgotten is sending up to 5,000 gift boxes as a small token of appreciation for all that these veterans have done and to remind them that their service is not forgotten.
We would like to find as many Burma Star veterans as possible so that we can give them a bit of cheer at this extraordinary time.
To register for the gift the veteran, or authorised member of their family or carer needs to send the following information:
- Full name - first name, surname and maiden name if appropriate
- Service number
- Military details – Arm/Unit of service and dates
- Full postal address & Telephone number
- Date of birth
- Details of individual/organisation providing this data if not the veteran.
These details can be submitted online here by 7 December 2020 or sent to admin@burmastar.org.uk and we will forward the veteran’s details to The Not Forgotten.
